International diversity at the top - strong natural wines - the courage to embrace new styles
Frasdorf, November 2021 - With an internationally uniform name and a new branding, the International PIWI Wine Award went over the tasting tables from November 5th to 7th. Announced for the 11th time by PIWI International, the renowned quality competition took place again in the tried and tested, virtual WINE SYSTEM Tasting Room due to the pandemic*) instead of where the certified PAR® Master Jury was allowed to taste 443 PIWI wines from 16 countries and assess their quality. A total of 37 wines were awarded great gold, 174 gold and 177 silver. 44 wines received a recommendation.
