Winery description:

In 1926 the local winegrowers merged and founded the Rammersweier wine cooperative.

Today, around 58 hectares of vineyards are cultivated by around 88 winegrowers. The variety focus is on Müller-Thurgau (40%), Pinot Noir (32%), Riesling (14%), Pinot Gris (7%). Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Dorsa, Kerner, Scheurebe, Gewürztraminer, Solaris, Muscaris round off the diverse range.

The grapes ripen on loam and loess soils, as well as on granite weathered rock. This gives the wines a special fruit and a lasting taste. The vineyards are managed on slopes and slopes in harmony with nature.

Cellar master Siegfried Kiefer has been taking care of the winemaking with great discipline and meticulousness for over 35 years. Fermentation control, racking, clarification, maturation and bottling at the optimum time are the responsibility of the experienced winemaker.
