Winery description:
The BioWeingut Julia and Rabea Weckbecker was founded in 2011 as a project by two sisters. The older one, Julia, is in the middle of studying viticulture and the younger one, Rabea, is training to be an event manager. In the Hatzenporter Burg Bischofstein site, an already organically grown Riesling vineyard was offered for sale. And the wine adventure began... However, this vineyard has not been cultivated for two years. So the two sisters, with the active help of their father Josef, had a lot to do to get this vineyard "in shape" again. The first vintage of 2011 was correspondingly small in terms of quantity; the quality, however, convinced immediately and spurred on to continue. In addition to two typical Moselle Rieslings, we now also offer a Crémant sparkling wine. The wines show the full potential of a good location - the Hatzenporter Burg Bischofstein.
